Every photo, one tap away

Tap the main photo on a Jaguar's page, or any of the small ones beneath it, and swipe through every photo it has. Each one still tells you which entry it's from.

Kudos on a single photo

Spotted a stunning shot? Give that photo its own kudos, separate from the entry's.

Comment on a photo

Ask about the paint, the wheels or the view, right under the photo you mean. The entry shows how many comments its photos have, so none get missed.

Tidier drop-downs

Lists you choose from now have a neater arrow, and dates fit properly on smaller phones.

Start with your photos

A new entry opens with Choose photos. Pick them, give it a title, and add writing, a video, your tour or a document underneath, in any order.

Captions on every photo

Tap a photo to caption it, frame it or blur a detail. Its caption now shows on the photo whichever layout you choose.

Arrange your photos

Tap Arrange to put them in order: hold and drag, or use the arrows. The first one is the cover.

Map it as a tour instead

When your photos cover more than one day or place, Oncat offers to turn them into a tour, with its route and miles.

Clearer boxes and buttons

Fields, choices and second buttons now have a firm edge, so it's obvious where to type and what to tap.

See the entries, not just the names

When a friend or a Jaguar you follow adds a journal entry, the round-up shows its photo, its headline and a line of what they wrote, so you can see at a glance whether it's one to read.

Your own Jaguars, pictured

Kudos and new followers on your Jaguars now come with your Jaguar's photo beside them.

Friends going to events

See the date at a glance, and when several friends are going to the same event they're shown together.

Oncat on your home screen

On Android it's a single button. On an iPhone it's three steps from the Share menu, and we show you each one. You'll find it in the Menu: Add Oncat to your home screen.

Hear when it matters

The first time you open Oncat from its icon, we'll ask once whether you'd like a notification when someone messages you, sends a friend request, comments on your entries or your MOT is due. It says who, never what: "Andy sent you a message", never the message itself.

You choose what reaches your phone

Each kind has its own switch in Settings, Notifications on your phone, and your emails carry on just as before.

A count on the icon

Your unread messages and notifications show on Oncat's icon, and clear as you read them.

No signal, no fuss

One button: Add an MOT

On your Jaguar's MOT history, it checks the DVSA for you first. If your new MOT is there, it's added straight away, nothing to type.

A new MOT can take a day or so to reach the DVSA. You can add it from a photo of the certificate, or type it in.

Each Jaguar's MOT history now updates every day in the weeks around its MOT, so a new test shows up on its own, and we won't remind you about an MOT you've already passed.

A friendlier entry editor

A new entry starts with What happened?, your words are kept if you get interrupted, and Preview shows it just as others will see it.

Straight in when you join

You can show off your Jaguar and publish entries before confirming your email. When you do confirm, it's a 4-digit code, right there in the email's subject.

Photo first

Before you share your Jaguar, or its rarity page, we'll ask for a photo, so it's your own Jaguar on the card.

Lots of small things on phones

The reg box on the first screen, fewer banners, and buttons that no longer hide behind the keyboard or each other.

Your plate, your call

A photo is never hidden because it shows your number plate. Many of you are rightly proud of yours. If you've chosen to hide your reg, we'll simply let you know so you can blur it.

Your name, not a made-up username

Your Jaguar's page now says "John's S-Type", and you show as John S. You can switch that off in Settings any time; we never show your full surname.

A clearer privacy page

It now says plainly what we hold about you and your Jaguar, why and for how long, who runs Oncat (that's us, David and Tracy), and every email we might send you. It's easier to read on a phone too, with a Contents button. The terms page has had the same tidy.

A tidier Paddock

A Jaguar that's just joined no longer brings an empty "Bought the car" entry onto Latest entries.

A new menu

Tap Menu at the top of any page, on your phone or your computer. Everything is in one place, in big, clear rows with a line under each saying what it is, and + Add an entry waits at the bottom, right where your thumb is.

If a reg isn't in the MOT records, we say so kindly: plenty of classics aren't.

Quicker pages

Photos now arrive at the right size for your screen, so the Paddock and your Jaguar's page load several times faster on a phone signal. Notifications and Messages open the moment you tap them.

Easier to tap

Buttons, menus and filters are bigger and easier to hit with a thumb. The button for a new logbook entry now says Add an entry, and it steps out of the way while you scroll.

The back button does what you'd expect

Open a photo, your notifications or a pop-up, press back, and it closes what you opened instead of leaving the page. If you've made changes in the photo framing or blur tools, we'll check before throwing them away.

Photos from any phone

Phones that save pictures as HEIC (many Android phones do) now upload without a fuss.

Forms that fit your thumb

Settings pages end with a big Save button right where you finish, and pop-ups keep Save just under what you've typed.

Clearer labels

The photo viewer's tools, the Manage button and the menu now say what they do, even on a small screen.

Your Jaguar, called by its proper name

Add your Jaguar from its reg and Oncat now keeps the exact version its MOT record gives, so an XKR stays an XKR. An XK or XKR from before 2006 is now an XK8, the badge it actually wore. Anything you've typed in the version box yourself stays exactly as you wrote it.

Going public is clearer

New Jaguars show their registration by default, and the make-public step tells you exactly what visitors will see. New photos are checked for number plates and personal details before visitors can see them.

A tidier feedback page

Signed in, you no longer type your email: the page tells you which address we'll reply to. Long email addresses now fit neatly on a phone, too.

Give a tour kudos

Enjoyed someone's tour? Tap the heart at the end of it and they'll see it in their notifications. Only the tour's owner sees how many kudos it has.

Comment on a tour

Public tours now have comments, just like logbook entries. Ask about the route, share a memory of the roads, or simply say well done. Your one comments setting covers your tours as well as your entries.

Tours are now simply public or private

, and when you're planning one, the stop you're working on stays where it is on screen after a change.

Rarity pages have had a proper going over

Your Jaguar's own photo now leads the page, with its number big and clear beneath it, and anyone visiting can check how rare their own Jaguar is straight from the top of the page. The numbers and charts are easier to read too, and there's a short note on what Oncat is for anyone new.

Straight to your number

Most Jaguars now go straight to their result, with no question about which version yours is. You can then narrow it down with buttons such as R, SE or Sport.

And each one finds its own day, beside the stop where it was taken.

The route on a map, the days and miles, where you stayed and ate, and your photos, like a little road book. There's a printable PDF version to take with you, too.

Finished tours appear in the Paddock, and on your car's page and your garage.

React to comments

With an emoji. Whoever wrote the comment sees it in the bell.

The bell keeps waiting things showing

(a friend request, a comment to reply to) until you've dealt with them.

Everything in one place

Kudos, new followers, comments, friend requests and reminders about your Jaguars all collect behind the bell. Tap it and they slide in over whatever page you're on, so you never lose your place. A number on the bell tells you when something's new.

Waiting for you

Anything that needs an answer sits at the top: a comment on one of your entries, a friend request, a garage asking to feature your car, or an enquiry. You can accept a request right there in the panel.

Kudos on your entries

Until now nobody was told when someone gave one of your logbook entries kudos. Now you'll see it in the bell (no extra emails).

Replies reach people

When you answer a comment, the person who asked now hears about it, so a conversation can actually go back and forth.

Comments arrive straight away

A comment on your entry now emails you at once rather than waiting for your daily round-up, because someone's waiting on an answer. Just one email per entry until you've had a look, so a busy entry won't fill your inbox.

Share your car and it looks the part

Post your car's link on Facebook or WhatsApp and the preview now shows your cover photo with your car's name in big letters and its full title above. Underneath, it invites people to read your car's full story, and sums up what's in it: your one-line description, how long you've had it, and how many logbook entries, service records and honours it has. If your car doesn't have a name or a one-line description yet, now's a good moment to add them.

Fewer "photo hidden" emails

When we hold back a photo because a plate or personal details are showing, we now wait a few hours before emailing you. If you've already sorted it by then, there's no email at all, and you'll never get more than one of these a week. If it's your own plate and you're happy for people to see it, the email points you to Show my plate, so one tap puts that car's photos back on show.

How rare is your Jaguar?

Pop your reg in at oncat.app/rare and pick its version (we use its engine size and year to show the likely ones first). You'll straight away see how many are left on UK roads, from the DVLA's own figures, with a chart of how the numbers have changed since 2014. It names your car properly, shows a little of its own life from the MOT record, and makes a card ready to share on Facebook or WhatsApp. Add a photo and watch the card change to show your car. Your reg is never shown, and Daimlers are very welcome too.

Comments have arrived

You can now comment on any logbook entry: ask about the spec, share a memory, or just say the car looks lovely. We'll email you when someone comments on yours, entries with a conversation show a small marker, and a setting lets you turn comments off across all your posts whenever you like.

Every Friday evening, a short email with the latest entries from across Oncat and any Jaguars that joined that week. A quiet week means no email.

A friendly note after the show

Mark yourself as going to an event and, a day or two afterwards, we'll send a gentle nudge to add a few photos and a line about the day. It arrives on a weekend morning or an evening, never mid working day, and one tap starts the entry for you.

Featuring your posts

We'd love to show off some of the best Jaguars and stories on Oncat's Facebook and X pages, but only with your say so. There's a new "Featuring your posts" switch in Settings. It's off unless you turn it on, we always credit you, and you can change your mind any time.

Links that look the part

Share a logbook entry and the preview in WhatsApp, Facebook or a message now shows that entry's own photo.

Sign in with an email link

No password to remember if you'd rather not: tap "Email me a sign-in link" on the sign-in page.

Quicker sorting of hidden photos

If we've held back photos because a plate is showing, you can now choose "Show my plate" for a whole car in one tap, or "Keep all public". And if we flag something by mistake, just tell us to ignore it.

Little fixes

Tap the oncat. logo in any of our emails and it takes you straight to what the email is about. And a backdated logbook entry now shows at the top of Latest entries, where people will see it, rather than sinking to the bottom.

Getting started is much quicker

Signing up now asks for just your name, email and a password, and drops you straight into your garage (no "check your email" wall). We give you a web address to start with, like oncat.app/racing-leaper-897, and you can change it to anything you like from Settings. We only ask you to confirm your email when you do something that reaches other people, like making a car public or sending a message.

Your taps stick

Give a car or an entry some kudos, or follow it, before you've joined, and it now lands the moment you sign up instead of getting lost. The same goes for tapping "I'm going" on an event: you sign up and end up right back where you were.

Friends has its own place

Your friends now live in a Friends link in the top menu, with a search to find people by name or handle, and a small red dot when someone's waiting to connect. Follow each other and you're friends.

Invite a mate in a couple of taps

From your Friends page you can send someone a personal invite built around their Jaguar, featuring one of your own cars as the example. They get a warm email from you, their details are already filled in, and the moment they join you're friends. Nothing's shared until they do, and it's always one mate at a time, never a bulk blast.

A warmer welcome when you share

Share a car, an entry, your garage or your season with someone who isn't on Oncat yet, and the foot of the page now gives them a proper, friendly welcome tailored to what they're looking at (a car, or the whole season with friends), plus our promise up front: private by default, your data is yours, no doomscroll, for enthusiasts by enthusiasts.

Your best cars up front

In garages and across the Paddock, the cars with the most photos and logbook entries now lead the way, so there's always something worth a look at the top. Every car also shows the same tidy card wherever you find it, with View, Follow (or Manage, if it's yours) and a kudos heart.

A cleaner garage page

Your cover photo now stands on its own, with your name as a proper masthead and your profile, bio, links and Follow button in a clean band beneath it. The section links sit neatly at the top, and it reads far better, especially on a phone.

Kudos is just for you now

The kudos tally on your cars and entries is private to you, the owner. Everyone else still sees the button and can show their appreciation, they just don't see a running total.

A home for your Jaguar's provenance

Every car page now has a Provenance section, a dedicated place above the timeline for its documented history and heritage: earlier owners, how it left the factory, the paperwork that proves what it is. You add it like any other entry and tag it Provenance.

Better protection for private details in your photos

As well as number plates, we now catch VIN numbers and personal details, like an address on a receipt or a document, across both your cars and your garage posts. Anything we spot is kept off your public pages until you've covered it up.

Choose whether your MOT history is public

Every car now has a simple switch for its MOT history. It's on by default, but you can hide it any time if you'd rather keep it to yourself.

Lots of little polish

Previously owned Jaguars wear a clear tag and sit one to a row on the phone. Car page menus no longer run off the edge on smaller screens. And there's a calmer, more consistent feel throughout, with tidier spacing, one round back button on every screen, a less cluttered editor, and right-sized text on the car page.

The share section on your car and garage pages has had a proper makeover. Instead of a thin list of links, the things worth showing off now get their own cards, your window card, a QR code and the PDF brochure, each with a little preview so you can see what you're getting. Everything else (copy the link, or send it by email, WhatsApp, Facebook or X) sits neatly underneath, and it scales to each page: a car you still own shows all three, a car you've sold shows just its brochure.

A window card for your whole garage

, not just each car. Pop it on a club stand or hand it over, and a single scan takes people to all your Jaguars. Find it under Manage, Print a window card.

Download a QR code

For your garage or any of your cars, just how you want it: PNG for the web or SVG for print, a white or transparent background, and whether to show the address underneath, with a live preview before you save. Perfect for a for-sale sign, a business card, a sticker, even a mug or a T-shirt.

On a car's page, the Share panel now sits right after the car's story, so "show this off" lands while the car is still fresh in your mind.

Staying over for an event?

When you mark that you're going, you can now say you're staying overnight and add a note about where you're staying. It shows on the event alongside the friends who are going, so everyone can sort out where they're all bunking.

Everything responds the instant you tap it

Buttons, links and filters react straight away, and a slim progress bar runs across the top whenever a page is loading, so you're never left wondering whether it heard you.

Car pages look right on a phone

A longer Jaguar name no longer balloons across the cover photo; it sits at a sensible size with the follow button tucked neatly underneath.

The PDF brochure's cover stays on one clean page

, even with a longer name or intro.

The About, What's New and Get Involved pages now lead gently into each other instead of dead-ending.

Garages that feature other people's cars behave properly now

, with no odd nudge asking you to make a car public when your garage is already shareable.

A printable brochure for every car

Every car page now has a Download PDF button (in Share and the Manage menu) that turns your Jaguar into a proper magazine-style brochure — the cover photo, the key facts and how rare it is, the full story and any honours, the timeline with its photos, the complete service and MOT history, and the mileage stats. Every page links back to the live car, with a quiet note if it's for sale. Lovely to print for a show, email, or hand over with the car.

Drafts for your logbook

Start an entry, hit Save draft, and come back to finish it later — nothing goes public and no one's emailed until you press Publish. You can move a published entry back to a draft, too.

A nudge when a service is due

Pop your mileage and rough yearly miles into the service log and we'll email you a friendly reminder when one's likely coming up. No DVLA lookup — just what you tell us.

Your story, told in full

Your Jaguar's story now takes pride of place on its page — the introduction, where it came from, and how you use it these days — instead of being folded behind a link. The page reads cleanly top to bottom: the facts, the story, the honours, the timeline, and the records.

The About page now lays out the whole journey — where we've come from, where we honestly are, and what's coming — plus the promises that won't change, signed. Have a read →

Say where you are

In sign-up and your Settings you can now set your country and, in the UK, your nation. It's kept private and never shown on your public pages — it just helps us see where the Jaguar scene is, so we can connect you with nearby owners, clubs and events in time.

Follow a Jaguar, and you will be first to hear if it comes up for sale

Following a car already keeps you up with its story. Now, if the owner ever puts it up for sale (or marks it "might sell"), everyone following it gets a gentle heads-up. So if there is a car you love, follow it, and you will know the moment it becomes available. The Follow button now sits up at the top of the car page, so it is easy to find.

Owners: your followers are your first audience

If your car is not for sale, you will see a quiet note that the people following it would be the first to hear if you ever listed it. No pressure, just a reminder that the interest is already there.

Miles per year, over the years

See how it has been driven across its whole life, with your ownership set apart from the previous keeper's.

The bigger picture

Tap "See the full picture" for the full mileage curve and, if you have chosen to show what you have spent, a breakdown of your costs over time and per mile.

It is all worked out from your MOT history and service log, so there is nothing to fill in. Your private costs stay private.

A ＋ button on every page

Tap it and write a logbook entry there and then, spanner still in hand.

Post to your garage, not just one car

For the days that are not about a single motor (a show, an afternoon tinkering). When you add an entry you choose where it belongs, and garage posts get their own "Posts from the garage" section so nothing gets buried.

Add a video to any entry

Paste a YouTube link and it embeds alongside your photos and words. Video entries show a proper thumbnail with a play badge everywhere.

A nicer photo picker

"Choose from your photos" is bigger and clearer, keeps your place as you add, shows an Added tick, and lets you click again to remove one.

Enquire about a car that is for sale

An Enquire about this car button opens a private message to the owner. Everything stays on oncat, so no phone number or email goes on the listing. The owner sees it is a real, named enthusiast, and every enquiry carries a gentle safety reminder: see the car in person, and never pay before you have.

Featured cars

A garage can showcase Jaguars kept in other garages (ideal for a club, shop or channel). You are always in control of your own car: anyone asking to feature it gets an Allow / Decline, and you can remove it any time.

Your website, YouTube and socials on your garage, shown on your garage page and your car pages.

Sharing by email reads right

The message now fits what you are sending (a car, an event, an entry, a garage), with a button that says what it opens.

Writing up a logbook entry and not sure how it reads? Tap Give it a polish and we'll gently tidy your own words into something you'd be happy to show — your facts left exactly as they were. Have a read, then keep it or undo it. It's only ever a suggestion.

Reuse a photo you've already added

When you're adding photos to a logbook entry, you can now choose from the photos already on the car instead of uploading them again.

When you're writing a logbook entry, you can now pull in photos that are already on your Jaguar — from its gallery or an earlier entry — instead of uploading them again. Look for "…or choose from photos you've already added" (or the From your photos button), pick as many as you like, and they drop straight into your entry. It's the same picker you already use for your cover photo, and each one's copied — so your original stays exactly where it is.

See how rare your Jaguar is

Your car page can now show how many of your exact Jaguar are still on the road in the UK, straight from DVLA's own licensing figures. Open one of your cars, pick your exact variant, and it reads the real number — "One of 358 still on the road."

The story over the years

A simple graph charts how the numbers have changed over time — still on the road vs tucked away (SORN) — and marks the year you got yours, so you can see how many were around when you took it on.

It keeps itself current

The figures refresh automatically every week, so they're never far out of date.

Writing a logbook entry just got nicer

The editor is calmer and content-first, with proper formatting — headings, bold, italic, bullet lists and pull-quotes — so your write-ups read like a proper story. New entries start on a clean page, and you can now choose how each photo gallery is laid out.

Service and MOT history are now clean tables

The main sections — Paddock, Events and Clubs — now tuck into the menu in the top-right, always within reach.

The events page got a proper mobile tidy-up — no more sideways scroll, the season timeline lines up neatly, and each event shows its date up top.

A little bar lets you flip between The season (everything that's on) and Your season (what you and your friends are heading to) in one tap.

Event pages read better too, with the "what else is on" list moved to the bottom.

Opening an entry on a phone now leads with the story — the car, the title and your write-up — and your photos run right to the edges of the screen. Kudos and share sit at the end, once you've read it.

Framing a photo now works properly on touch: pinch to zoom (or use the new + / − buttons) and drag to reposition, with the frame staying put.

Blurring a number plate is much nicer too — pinch to zoom right in, and the corner handles are far easier to grab, even on a small or angled plate.

It stays up to date on its own, and we'll email you about three weeks before your MOT is due, so it never catches you out.

Adding a car is now a calm, one-thing-at-a-time flow that starts where it should: with a photo.

Pop in your reg and we'll fill in the year, colour and model for you from the DVSA — less typing, more showing off.

Every key fact now has its own little edit button — tap it for a focused pop-up to change just that one thing. Any blanks gently nudge you to fill them in.

We show your most recent entries with a See full history button for the rest, so a long, lovingly-kept log doesn't bury the rest of the page.

Cleaner all round on a phone

The photo viewer tucks each caption neatly under the image, sharing opens straight into your phone's own share sheet, and the menus and top bars no longer feel cramped.

Message a friend

— from their garage, or open the new envelope icon at the top of any page and hit New message to pick someone. No phone numbers to swap; just say hello.

You won't miss one

— when a message arrives, a gentle pop-up lets you know, and the envelope shows how many are waiting, wherever you are on the site.

A warm, familiar chat

— drop in an emoji, links become clickable, and your conversations are tidied by day so they're easy to follow.

Private, and in your hands

— you can only message friends (people you've both agreed to connect with), and you can delete your own messages or block anyone at any time.

The write-up describes the event itself, not one club's turn-out — every club gets a fair mention.

Every club sits side by side with the same simple link — equal billing, no favourites, landing you on each club's own event or calendar page.

We can now bundle your activity emails — kudos, new followers, new logbook entries, friends heading to events — into a single daily or weekly round-up, instead of a separate email each time. Choose how often under Email settings; a gentle daily round-up is the default.

Add as many photos to an entry as you like — you just add them up to 50 at a time, so a whole restoration goes on in a few batches. Pick more than 50 and it tells you straight away, rather than trying, failing and leaving you with nothing.

New Sold tag for the logbook — a gentle bookend to Purchase, so you can mark the day a car moved on to its next keeper.

Changing a car or garage cover now lets you pick from photos you already have, not just upload a new one — in a tidier dialog with everything laid out on tabs.

The Paddock now opens on the action

Sign in and the home button drops you straight into Latest entries — a running feed of what the whole paddock has been up to, newest first. The Cars view is still there, one tab across.

A nudge to share your own

Woven into that feed you will spot a gentle prompt to post what you have been tinkering with — a couple of taps to add an entry to your Jaguar.

Every page now has a quiet back arrow, top-left, that steps you up a level: an entry back to the car, a car back to its garage, a garage back to the Paddock.

If you show your name on your public pages, we now show your first name and last initial only — e.g. David B. — never your full surname. Kinder to your privacy, given the cars we all look after.

Cars you no longer own now show Last known mileage rather than Current mileage — a little more honest.

On the plate-blur page you can now delete a flagged photo outright, alongside Ignore and Blur.

The Events page has been tidied into one calmer section up top.

And some polish: your garage menu now reads Manage with clear icons; the season page reads Our season throughout; the account menu closes when you click away; and menus near the bottom of the screen open upward so they are never cut off.

Stuck for words? Let us help

Your car's story now has a Give it a polish button. Jot down a few rough points and it'll tidy them into something readable — in your own voice, and never inventing anything. It only ever suggests: you decide whether to use it, and you can undo any time.

One place to edit your car

The details, who can see it, your insurance reminder — everything about your Jaguar now lives on a single, clearer Edit screen, reached from the new Manage menu on the car's page.

A tidier model list

We gave the Jaguar model picker a proper going-over — cleaner names from the XK120 right through to the F-PACE, with a few special ones (like the F-Type Project 7) in their own right. We also ask for the year now, so every car reads just as it should: "1968 E-Type".

A few small polishes

The story editor jumps straight to the headline when you open it, the per-section edit links say exactly what they do ("Edit summary"), and a name with an apostrophe no longer looks odd in a heading.

The whole season as a timeline

— every club's calendar gathered in one place and laid out as a clear run through the year, with a "This weekend / Coming up" strip so the next few events are always in view.

Filter to what you fancy

— narrow the season by type (shows, track days, drives and more) and by club, in any combination you like.

See who's going

— a new "Friends going" filter shows just the events your friends have said they're attending.

Share your season

— there's now a public page of the events you're heading to that you can hand to anyone, at oncat.app/yourhandle/season.

A nudge before the off

— mark yourself going and we'll email you the week before, so there's time to give the Jaguar a wash and a polish.

Tidier event pages

— each event now has a one-tap link to the club's own page, add-to-calendar buttons, and a "what's on next" glimpse of the season from that date.

— the Jaguar XK Club and the Daimler & Lanchester Owners' Club now sit alongside the JEC, the Drivers' Club, the Breakfast Club and the E-Type Club. If you're a member, they're a click away.

Sharing that behaves on private cars

If a car — or a single entry — is private, we no longer show a "Share" button that wouldn't actually open for anyone. Instead we explain it and point you to making the car public. Same for your garage: the share only shows once you've something public to show.

A kinder message for an empty file

If a document you drop into Add from photos comes through empty (it happens — a browser hiccup, not your fault), we now say so plainly — "that file appears to be empty, double-check it and try again" — instead of a vague error.

Getting around your garage is easier

Your public garage page now has a slim navigation bar to jump straight to a section — your Jaguars, the ones you owned before, your honours, your updates. And your owner tools (change the cover, settings, copy the link) are tucked into one neat "Edit" menu instead of scattered about.

Saving is simpler

On the settings, car-details and story pages, the Save button now sits at the top and rides along as you scroll — no more hunting for it at the bottom of a long form.

One name for one thing

Your logbook posts are called "updates" everywhere now — you post an update, you edit an update. A small thing, but it stops the app calling the same thing two different names.

The info pages are joined up

About, What's new, Get involved, Contact and Help now share a little tab bar, so you can move between them without scrolling down to the footer — and the Help page reads more cleanly.

A few fixes

— some buttons and menus that weren't quite behaving, and a stray scrollbar, all put right.

It should feel more finished

Buttons, switches, filters and labels now look and behave the same wherever you are on the site. Small things on their own; together, a good deal tidier.

The on/off switches in your settings now slide properly, the View button on an attached PDF opens it as it should, and jumping to your car's latest timeline entry now works whichever way you're viewing it.

Stuck PDFs have a way out

If a document won't open inside Oncat, you can now open it in a new browser tab instead — so you're never left staring at an error.

A tidier menu

"Your public page" now sits right under "Your garage," where you'd look for it.

If a file's too big, you'll be told straight away — with its size and the limit — instead of it quietly failing.

Uploads now show clearer progress, and say so if something goes wrong rather than looking stuck.

You can remove an attached PDF straight from the post now, without going back into edit mode.

Key Facts now has a Supplying dealer field — that lovely bit of provenance, like "supplied new by Williams Jaguar, Manchester". As you type, it suggests dealers other owners have already added, so the spelling stays nice and consistent.

Oncat now has a What's new page (you're on it) — a simple, honest note whenever something changes. No feed, no noise; just what's new, when it's worth telling you about.

A new List view — flip the car timeline between the big "Story" layout and a compact, line-by-line list, so a long history is easy to scan.

Post titles now tidy themselves into a consistent Title Case, however you type them.

The little editing pop-ups — Key Facts, service records, covers, your profile photo — have all been rebuilt to be roomier and more consistent, and they go full-screen on a phone instead of a cramped box.

Reframing and blurring now use the same big full-screen editor everywhere, and your garage banner can be reframed as often as you like without ever losing quality.

A new optional Cost field on each record — private, only you can see it.

You can now attach a PDF to a logbook post — a set of instructions or wiring diagrams, say. People view it right in the browser, and you choose per file whether they can download it.
