Water Leaking into Boot

There are a number of possible causes for water in the boot
1. Rear bumper fixing bolts usually to the left and right of the boot floor
2. Rear lamp cluster seals
3. Top corner of rear wings just below windscreen rubber
4. Damaged boot seal
5. Split metal seam under boot seal
6. Split seam under body sealer inside boot to lower rear of lamp cluster.
Specific to Facelift from 2004MY
7. Behind chrome "J A G U A R" boot trim which incorporates - boot release etc.
Water gets into the boot lid past the fixing clips at each end of the trim.
Although there are drain holes in the boot lid it appears that some water can get into the boot around the boot latch.
