Time served (City and Guilds apprenticeship) Motor Mechanic for 12 years in London thru 1960s/1970s. During this time I experienced the challenges of working on Jaguar cars such as the MkII and the E Type, eventually becoming a Jaguar owner in 2013.

I decided to replace the main beam halogen bulbs before refitting the front bumper. However upon rotating the bulb fixing on the R/H lamp to remove it both adjuster mechanisms shattered into several pieces rendering the lenses very floppy and pointing to the ground. I have ordered two sets of upgraded adjusters. I'll detail the rebuild process in 'My Garage'.
